Return and Refund Policy

Our Commitment
At Magnesium Athletes, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Return and Refund Policy explains how to return products and request refunds.
14-Day Return Window
You have 14 calendar days from the date you receive your order to initiate a return. Returns requested after 14 days cannot be accepted.
How to calculate your return window:
- Day 1 = Date of delivery (as shown in tracking confirmation)
- Day 14 = Last day to initiate return
Eligible Returns
Unopened Products Only
Due to health, safety, and hygiene standards, we can only accept returns of unopened, unused products in their original sealed packaging.
We accept returns for unopened products if:
- The product is in its original, sealed packaging
- The seal/safety wrapper has not been broken or removed
- The product has not been used or opened
- You received the wrong product
- You ordered the wrong product
- You changed your mind before opening
Why We Cannot Accept Opened Products
Our products are topical wellness products applied directly to the body. Once opened or used, we cannot:
- Verify the product's integrity
- Ensure the product hasn't been contaminated
- Resell the product to another customer
- Guarantee the product's safety for another user
This policy protects the health and safety of all our customers.
Exceptions: Damaged or Defective Products
If you receive a damaged or defective product, we will accept returns even if the product has been opened, subject to the following conditions:
Damaged Products
Products damaged during shipping will be replaced at no cost if:
- You report the damage within 48 hours of delivery
- You provide photos of the damaged packaging and product
- The damage was clearly caused during shipping (not from use)
Defective Products
Products with manufacturing defects will be replaced or refunded if:
- You report the defect within 14 days of delivery
- You provide photos or description of the defect
- The defect is confirmed to be a manufacturing issue (not damage from use)
Examples of defective products:
- Product arrives already opened or unsealed
- Product has visible contamination or foreign objects
- Product packaging is torn or compromised before opening
- Product consistency is abnormal (separated, discolored, unusual odor)
- Product leaking from sealed container
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances:
Opened Products
- Any product where the safety seal has been broken
- Any product that has been used, even partially
- Products opened "to test" or "to try"
Final Sale Items
- Products marked as "Final Sale" at time of purchase
- Clearance or discontinued items (if specified at checkout)
- Bundle deals or promotional items (unless entire bundle is unopened)
Digital Products
- E-books, digital guides, or downloadable content (if offered in the future)
Gift Cards
- Gift cards or store credit (non-refundable)
How to Initiate a Return
Step 1: Contact Us
Email us at info@magnesiumathletes.com within 14 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- Reason for return
- Photo of the unopened product showing intact seal
- Preferred outcome (refund or exchange)
Step 2: Wait for Authorization
Do NOT ship the product back until you receive a Return Authorization (RA) number from us. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted or refunded.
We will respond within 2 business days with:
- RA number
- Return shipping instructions
- Return shipping label (if applicable)
Step 3: Ship the Product
- Pack the product securely in its original packaging
- Include the RA number clearly visible on the outside of the box
- Ship to the address provided in your return authorization email
- Keep your tracking number for your records
Return Shipping Costs
Customer Responsibility (Standard Returns)
For standard returns (changed your mind, ordered wrong product):
- You are responsible for return shipping costs
- We recommend using a trackable shipping method
- We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping
Our Responsibility (Our Error or Defective)
If we sent the wrong product or the product is defective:
- We will provide a prepaid return shipping label
- We will cover all return shipping costs
- We will expedite your replacement or refund
Return Shipping Addresses
We will provide the correct return address in your RA email. Do not use the original shipping address on your package.
Refund Amount
For approved returns, you will receive:
- Full product price refund
- Original shipping cost refund (only if we made an error)
Deductions:
- Return shipping cost (for standard returns) is not refunded
- Restocking fee: None (we do not charge restocking fees)
Wrong Item Received
If you received the wrong product:
- Do not open the product
- Contact us immediately at info@magnesiumathletes.com with:
- Photo of the product you received
- Photo of the shipping label
- Your order number
- We will send you the correct product immediately
- We will provide a prepaid label to return the wrong item
Multiple Items in One Order
If you ordered multiple items and want to return only some:
- Each unopened item can be returned individually
- You do not need to return the entire order
- Opened items cannot be returned, even if other items in the order are being returned
Order Cancellations
Before Shipment
If your order hasn't shipped yet:
- Contact us immediately at info@magnesiumathletes.com
- We can cancel and refund your order at no charge
- Once an order ships, cancellation is not possible (follow return process instead)
After Shipment
Once your order has shipped:
- You cannot cancel the order
- You may refuse delivery (results in return to sender)
- Refused deliveries are processed as returns once received
- You are responsible for return shipping costs on refused deliveries (unless we made an error)
Fraudulent Returns
We reserve the right to refuse returns if we suspect fraud, including:
- Returning used products in sealed packaging
- Returning empty or weighted packages
- Requesting excessive returns
- Returns that don't match the original product shipped
Fraudulent return attempts may result in:
- Denial of current and future returns
- Account suspension
- Legal action if appropriate

Your Consumer Rights

California Consumers
California Civil Code Section 1723 allows you to return unopened products within the timeframe stated in this policy.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Return and Refund Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:
- Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top
- Posting a notice on our website
Your purchase of products after changes to this policy constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
